Pearl couscous
Pearl Couscous is a fun alternative to pasta or rice! It is made of tiny spheres of toasted semolina flour (which is made from durum wheat).These tiny little balls have a nutty flavor and a chewy al dente texture. Toss with veggies, pesto, pasta sauce, use as a bed for meats or stews. Use it to make salads and soups.
Cooking instructions:
To Cook Pearl Couscous: Bring 1 cups water to a boil in 2 qt. sauce pan. Add 1 cup Pearl Couscous, bring back to boil and cover. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes or until Pearl Couscous has absorbed all the water. Remove from heat and serve warm or at room temperature.
